Together We Inspire and Achieve

Friends of Waltham St Lawrence School

Purpose

For over 100 years, Waltham St. Lawrence Primary School has educated and nurtured thousands of children equipping them with the skills for lifelong learning. In our last Ofsted inspection (2017), we were judged “Outstanding in all Areas”. We continue to provide inspiration and opportunities for all children to achieve their potential.

The current economic climate means that schools have less and less money to do more and more. Through the Friends of Waltham St. Lawrence School we seek to raise additional funds for the school to enhance the children’s learning. Projects that we may support include improving the children’s access to new technologies or providing additional books, music, science and sports equipment as well as bespoke provision for all the children at WSL.

We are grateful to parents/carers, alumni, friends and family and community members who are helping us to meet our vision by becoming a Friend of our School and make an ongoing contribution to the school to help to ensure its continued success and sustainability.

How can you help?

As much you feel able, for example £5 – £10 per month, payable by standing order. If you can Gift Aid your donation, even better!

Unlike many other charities, 100% of your contributions will go directly to the pupils of our school, to help them develop as young people.

Please refer to Donation Gift Aid Declaration Form for details of how to make your donation.
