At Waltham St Lawrence Primary School we offer a fantastic extended service from 8.00am to 6.00pm with flexible and affordable child care options available at both the start and the end of the school day. This extended service provides invaluable support to our working parents and good quality care for the children. Children’s safety is paramount and all staff are DBS cleared and First Aid Trained.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club runs from 8.00am to 8.40am every day, Monday to Friday in the Dining Hall.
The cost of each session is £3.00. There is no need to pre-book, parents can just bring your child to school at the appropriate time and pay via sQuid online.
Breakfast Club Supervisor prepares breakfast each day. This includes toast with jam or marmalade, cereals, fresh milk and fruit juice.
Our activities are geared towards providing children with a range of interesting things to do within a calm and purposeful environment. The children play games, make models with various construction equipment and enjoy art and craft activities.
After School CARE Club
We offer an After School CARE Club in partnership with Progressive Sports during term time four days a week from Monday to Thursday, 3.00pm – 6.00pm. Our After-School CARE Club programmes strive to offer your child a safe and friendly environment to be cared for after school.
The children can attend the CARE Club straight after school from 3.00pm to 6.00pm, they can be picked up any time.
On arriving your child will be registered and given a healthy snack and a drink. There are multiple activities your child can choose to do throughout their stay. Activities, weather permitting, will rotate from Football, Basketball, Arts and Crafts, Quizzes, Board games and puzzles. There is also a dedicated time for those who need to do their Homework including reading.
