At Waltham St Lawrence Primary School we offer a fantastic extended service from 7.45am to 6.00pm with flexible and affordable child care options available at both the start and the end of the school day. This extended service provides invaluable support to our working parents and good quality care for the children at WSL.
As a school we aim to deliver the best wraparound service by appointing the most dedicated and effective staff. Our staff are all DBS cleared and First Aid Trained and have spent a number of years working with children. Our School Core Values will underpin everything we do.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club runs from 7.45am to 8.30am every day, Monday to Friday in the Dining Hall.
The cost of each session is £3.50. Parents can pre-book a place for your child and pay via SCOPAY online or on occasions parents can just bring your child to school at the appropriate time and pay online.
Children’s safety is paramount and our activities are geared towards providing children with a range of interesting things to do within a calm and purposeful environment. The children play games, make models with various construction equipment and enjoy art and craft activities.
Breakfast Club Supervisor prepares breakfast each day. This includes toast with jam or marmalade, cereals, fresh milk and fruit juice.
After School CARE – Woodpeckers Club
We offer an After School CARE – Woodpeckers Club during term time four days a week from Monday to Thursday, 3.10pm – 6.00pm in the Dining Hall. Our Woodpeckers Club programme will offer your child a safe and friendly environment where they will be cared for and supported. The children can attend Woodpeckers Club straight after school from 3.10pm to 6.00pm and they can be collected any time. On arriving, your child will be registered and provided with a healthy snack and drink. We will have a dedicated time for your children to do their Homework / Reading as well as providing multiple planned activities for them to participate in.
Price per session from 3.10pm to 6.00pm:
- £12.00 per session, there is no sibling discount.
Please note there will be a late penalty charge of £20.00 after 6.00pm.
Ways to Pay
Please book and pay in advance daily, weekly or termly. You can also book on the day before 2.00pm as and when you may need childcare.
