Homework is set in accordance with the School’s Homework Policy and should take an average of 1 hour per week for KS1 children, 1½ hours per week for Years 3 and 4 and 2½ hours per week for Years 5 and 6.
Homework may be:-

Regular reading is vital and at KS1 homework consists mainly of regular reading with parents and looking at books together. At KS2 children should, as part of their homework, either read to their parents, listen to their parents reading or, if they are fluent, read on their own for at least 10-20 minutes per day.
