School Uniform Guidelines
School sweatshirts, cardigans and polo shirts are dark blue with the school logo on the front.

Girls Winter:
- Light grey skirt or tunic or navy blue tailored trousers
- White socks or grey/navy tights.
- School polo shirt
- School sweat shirt
Girls Summer:
- As above, or pale blue gingham dress or grey skirts with gingham tops
Boys Winter:
- Grey trousers and grey socks
- School polo shirt
- School sweat shirt
Boys Summer:
- As above or grey shorts
PE Kit:
- School HOUSE COLOURS T-shirts (embroidered with logo),
- Navy Shorts, Training shoes
- School Navy Hooded Sweatshirts – embroidered with logo
- Navy Jogging Bottoms
- A navy blue tracksuit may be worn in winter; plimsolls may be worn for indoor games
- A drawstring bag to hold PE and games kit should also be provided.
Footwear:
Children should wear ordinary black shoes to school,
Trainers or plimsolls are for PE / Games.
Plimsolls: children in Owls are allowed to bring plimsolls into school to change into from their outdoor shoes when arriving at school and returning to class after breaks.
If wellington boots are worn to school on wet days, children should change into ordinary shoes or plimsolls for wear around the school building.
Jewellery:
- Jewellery is not permitted to be worn in school. Stud earrings are the only type of earring allowed but must be covered with plasters or ‘Micropore’ during Games and PE lessons for Health and Safety reasons. Wrist watches are brought to school at the children’s own risk.
Other Items: Book Bags – bearing WSL School logo are available for purchase to protect books carried from school to home. These are very durable and cost £3.00 each.
Parents may wish to pass to the School Office any items of uniform that are unwanted or outgrown. These are sold to parents at low prices to raise additional income for school funds.
Parents can best support their children and school by keeping to these School Guidelines
It is very important that all clothing must be clearly marked with the child’s name.
Additionally the school cannot accept any liability for any lost jewellery – our advice is that jewellery of any sort is not worn in school.
