Together We Inspire and Achieve

Day 3 – Wednesday 6 June 2018

Fantastic weather greeted us this morning when we awoke. Copious amounts of sun cream were applied. Hats on heads and water bottles in hand, we set off for another (exhausting) day of adventures. This morning’s challenges included trapeze, archery, buggy building and abseiling. Everyone tried really hard and achieved wonderfully. Lots of smiles followed and the children were all really proud of themselves. With help from Jack (our PGL Groupie) and some brilliant instructors we jumped, rolled, slid and swan our way to happiness and success. Bend your legs, hold the ropes, reach up high, jump down and finally before lunch…. Wash your hands.

LUNCHTIME –  The food is great… 200 staff serve 1200 children in 90 minutes!

THIS AFTERNOON

The hot sun bought fabulous fun on the pond. RAFT BUILDING – A beautiful setting, warm up activities, learning knots to build a raft…. sit on top and…launch.

Using the paddle,s travel around the pond to find numbers to open a secret case.

We have had great comments back from the staff and instructors about the children. They are arguing about who has our children for activities as they are so polite, kind and thoughtful. We are so proud.

CAMPFIRE

Songs to sing to family members for weeks to come.
